International Outlook

Through partnership with a prestigious overseas university and working with a number of distinguished regional cultural institutions as strategic partners, our top priority is to enhance the international outlook of our participants. They would learn latest international best practices from faculty members, guest speakers, fellow students as well as through site visits. Their international exposure and networking would be enhanced by:

  1. attending three courses related to cultural entrepreneurship offered by Institute of Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship (ICCE), Goldsmiths, University of London;
  2. learning latest international best practices from academics and senior managers of the arts and cultural industries sectors in Hong Kong, Britain and Singapore;
  3. learning together with a diverse group of distinguished middle-ranking arts/ cultural managers from different cities in the region; and
  4. visiting key cultural institutions in the spotlight city and interacting with their senior managements during the elective course “Case Study in Arts Management and Cultural Context ” (5-day study trip).

In 2015, the EMA participants went to Taipei for their study trip.
