For qualifications obtained in other universities or institutions, submission of transcript(s) and certificate(s) are required.

Please do not send any original documents to the Institute in any circumstances as the Institute will not be responsible for any documents mislaid. However, original documents of the qualifications stated in the application must be presented for verification at registration. Applicants who have attended international institutions whose transcripts are in a language other than Chinese or English must submit those transcripts with certified English translations.

All supporting documents of unsuccessful applications will be destroyed at the end of the admission exercise.

Non-local Applicants

We welcome applications from local and non-local applicants. If you are required to obtain a student visa/entry permit issued by the Director of Immigration in order to study in Hong Kong, you are regarded as a non-local applicant (subject to confirmation from the Hong Kong Immigration Department). Indication of residence status does not form a criterion for selection.

It normally takes 6-8 weeks for the Hong Kong Immigration Department to process visa application. Non-local applicants are therefore advised to apply as early as possible.

Interviews and Admission Results

Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend admission interviews in person or by phone. An applicant who has not been invited to an interview shall not assume that he/she is not being considered for admission.

You will be informed of your application status, such as application acknowledgement, interview arrangements, etc., via your personal e-mail. Applicants are strongly advised to check their personal email frequently.

Successful applicants will receive individual notifications by post/email. Applicants who have not been offered admission before the commencement of the programme may assume their applications unsuccessful. No individual notifications will be sent to unsuccessful or waitlisted applicants.

Cancellation of Programme

The Institute reserves the right to cancel any programme(s) in which case all fees paid will be refunded.

Double Registration

Students enrolled in any full-time award bearing programmes (lasting for one year or longer) of the Institute should not simultaneously register for study for another qualification at this Institute or for a post-secondary qualification at another institution, except with prior approval of the Institute.
